  • Exodus 23:25 [KJV] Good morning believers. It's Dr. Gwen Ford again and my verse for this week is out of the book of Exodus 23:25. And I'm using my KJV Bible this week. Here goes … "25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. " Exodus 23:25 [KJV] … Aren't those words for today, for now, with this nasty virus? You want to just shake it away. We can pray it away. God can do everything, EVERYTHING. Connect with Him. Stay close to Him. Invite Him into your heart. Love Him. Love Him. I'm going to share the verse again with you, Exodus 23:25. " … 25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. " … Ahh. Amen, Amen to that. Beautiful verse. You have a blessed weekend, and a week, and you stay healthy out there now. God bless you.

  • Leviticus 1:1-2 [NKJV] Good morning believers. I'm Dr. Gwen Ford and I'm going to ask you to turn to the book of Leviticus this morning, chapter 1, verses 1 thru 2, and I'm using the New King James version. … 1 "Now the Lord called to Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of meeting, saying, 2 "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of the livestock—of the herd and of the flock. " Leviticus 1:1-2 [NKJV] … Today's word was from the book of Leviticus book 1, verses 1 thru 2 and I'm using the New King James version. God bless you and have a fantastic day!

  • Deuteronomy 4:27-28 [NKJV] Good morning, believers. It's Dr. Gwen Ford, again. And my Bible verse for this week is Deuteronomy, chapter 4, verses 27 through 31 (I meant to say 'verses 27 through 28).27 "And the LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the LORD will drive you. 28 "And there you will serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. " Deuteronomy 4:27-28 [NKJV] … Okay. That's from the book of Deuteronomy and its in chapter 4, verse 27 through 31(s/b 28). We are definately going through very difficult, challenging, dangerous times. Things are changing almost every day. We turn the TV on and it's like okay, what is gonna happen to us today? What are they gonna tell us what we have to do tomorrow? We have to read the Word no matter what happens. Find comfort in that Bible. If you haven't looked it for a long time, no, no big problems. Get it out. Open it up. And just start. God will guide you. God wants you to read His Word. God wants you to know His Word. So, we as Christians, don't worry about all this stuff as much as we sometimes do. It's a natural thing. But, whenever we start worrying too much, I tell you what I do. I get to the Bible. I have a mouse pad that a friend of mine gave me that it's the scripture Philippians 4, "I can do all things through God who strengthens me." I love that. And if I'm trying to do something hard and I can't think about it or I don't know what to do on the computer because I am not the most savvy computer person. I look down at that and then I go 'Yes, I can do this'. And that's the attitude we need to have today. 'I can do this'. God bless you this week. You stay safe out there. Don't you let that virus grab you, now. See you next week. God bless.

I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 [NIV] … Wow, that is a promise. That is encouraging. That is strengthing, moral strength. Something we can really depend on. And when it comes from God, there is no doubt He means every word. Let me read it to you again. From the book of Isaiah, chapter 41, verse 10. Listen how it starts out. … 10 Do not fear, for I am with you; … I love that. … do not be dismayed for I am your God. … He's in control, in other words. … I will strengthen you and help you; … Doesn't get any better than that, you guys. … I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. … His righteous right hand. He's really making a strong promise. And words of encouragement, they don't get any better than that. I love my God. And I know He loves me. And He loves you. Try that verse. Say it this week. Write it down if you have to. Talk to your God. He's your God. He's my God. He's our God. He's almighty. He's all powerful. He loves us. And all we have to do is accept Him. Ask in your heart. Talk to Him. Establish a relationship with… Like I call Him 'my God'. So, establish a relationship with your God. Feel good enough and personal enough with Him that you say 'my God said in the book of Isaiah bla, bla, bla. And you will be so elated. You will feel comfort. You will gain strength from these words. " Matthew 10:8 (Jesus talking) [KJV] … Very good strong words. Starts out with 'Heal the sick'. That's what we need right now in this time of corona virus going on. 'Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers,'. Its so much power in the Word. We just have to get in here … dig in. And just grab the verse that hits you. Because the Bible is … well it's a living Bible. It applies to us one time we can read that verse and we'll just skip right through it and say oh that sounds nice and the next time it's like every word is like gold … It hits home. It hit home for me for this week when it's talking about 'heal the sick'. God has us in His hand. Like we learned last week in His righteous right hand. It doesn't get any better. Open that Bible. Dig in. And enjoy your week. God bless you.

In directly these moments, these times, today. … 27 Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27. [KJV] … Boy, does that speak loud and clear to all bunch of us. This coronavirus is driving us right up a wall. And God has given us the power, the Word, and the comfort way long time ago. Because, He knows everything. He knows the past. He knows the future. He knows everything. And these are words of encouragement whenever we face any tribulation, any test of time. This earth is just full of challenges. But, right now, we're all unifying. Because we're all facing one big, as the media calls it, 'that silent enemy'. But God sees all, knows all. The book of John is telling us that now. Okay, hope you have a very blessed week. " Colossians 3:23 [NLT] … That is good stuff, right there. We should always do our best. We should give our best to whomever we are working for.
